I'm one of those people who literally don't remember their head hitting the pillow at bedtime. Here's why:

Up at 5:00 a.m. this morning. By 6:00 I'm planting more stuff in the garden. Then laid out the soaker hoses in the garden, repairing/replacing where needed, raked the leaves in the back yard, picked up approx. 20B pine cones and limbs. Used the leaves to mulch around trees along the driveway.

Then on the tractor to bush-hog 8 acres before lunch. After lunch bush-hogged 3 more acres. Ran the leaf blower to clean the driveway, patio, and pool areas. Sprayed bleach on the patio exposed-aggregate finish at the patio and pool, used a pressure washer to get it really clean.

It's almost five p.m. After a few gin and tonics, I'll make dinner, a Chiles Relleno casserole (recipe posted here already). Perhaps after dinner a snifter of Remy Martin and a Cuban cigar (don't ask). By 10:00 I'll be sleeping like a baby....

I have been out pressure washing the deck all day while the smoker was going. Got 4 butts done and resting now until I get them out and pulled for the fight tonight

so what you're saying is that you get up early, do some chores and then drink until you pass out around 10.

nice!

I forgot about the fight. How much is pay-per-view?

I guess one could put it that way...but my example has more legitimacy...or it least it sounds that way.

PPV is $100.00. Crazy like everything else with this fight
If I wanted to see it that bad I would find a bar showing it
Local places are charging around $20 bucks
I understand most places Re paying $5000 for right to show it

I think it comes on TV here about 1, but that will be the pre-fights most likely.

We will get to watch it for free, but there is usually 10 minutes of commercial breaks in between each round, so even if it starts on time, the rest will be time delayed.

So about half way into the fight I could probably do a quick google, and then start making bets.. :Jeff '79:

I walked 18 holes today, it was glorious weather, and I had my best front nine at this particular golf course ever (4 over, it's...hard.) Don't ask me about the back nine. :leaving:

Now we're going to a friend's house for burgers, wine, and whatever.

Not really.. I was doing 4 or 5 over on every hole the last time I played. :datawiz:

I did that once on the back, number 14 to be exact. It's what in technical golf circles we refer to as "a snowman." :nutkick:

But at least I kept it in the 80's. My best score at this course is about 84, I could destroy that if I could just put two 9's together. Yesterday at a different course I was 1-over on the front and shot an 82. :island14:

Xanax and 4oz of vodka in a cocktail every night. Usually no sleep problems

That's easier to do when you don't have to get up and go work for someone else.
