Should I surrender my man card for shooting this?

Absolutely not. Observing nature is one of the most manly things a man can do IMO. :):cert:

I hiked 6 miles today with my wife, looking at wildflowers, bugs and snakes. All good man. :seasix:

I had to get another cup off coffee after watching it. But, no you don't have to give the card away. Yet. :D

Here's the story.

I backed out of the garage and got out of the car. The flowering tree next to my driveway is heavy with flowers and the branches were hanging down. As I stood up from my car, I stuck my head into the tree.

"WTF are these things buzzing around my head?"

"Holy shit. Bees!"

About a thousand honey bees had descended on the tree. Later that day I noticed that hundreds of butterflies had also congregated there.

So I grabbed my camera and a 400mm lens and started shooting. Today a flock of birds were going after the bees and butterflies.

I expect cats to gather tomorrow to go after the birds. :yesnod:
