The site is about a month or so old now and everyday it gets so many spam post, and penis post with pics, we had to set all ads for review first to keep them out. :(

I told Tata to just leave anything clean for now at least for content till it gets more listings then we will clean it out.


The Attorney ad is real and happens to be the Lawyer that I am using for a case here.

But got a laugh out of Voodoo, and spells to prevent divorce, along with winning the Lottery ads under Legal..

The Filipino people, in general, are superstitious. I often get a kick out of their actions.

Example; the aswang/troll under the dirt hills, a bad thing whodathunkit, around the mango orchards.

Long story, but a right of way issue.

But now that you got me started, let me rant a little.. :D

The right of way for our beach lot was agreed to go all the way across the back of our lot.

The guy I who was a friend of mine we bought the place from died, and his low life son sold part of the right of way a few years back, still leaving us access, but would force us to move our gate entry, and loose the ability for future planned home entries and parking for our kids homes.

The right of way is shown on the survey map that came with the contract, but he refuses to go by that, so we had to go to court.

The guy is such a blatant retard about everything, it is well worth spending the money to try to get it back, and also it has already cost them more in attorney fees than the small amount of land they sold was worth.

They have agreed to settle several times, even shook hands as agreed, and then they change their mind and file more papers when they think they can come out a little better.

Each time they loose, and it just ends up costing them more.

I meet with the lawyer again tomorrow to work on our reply to their last motion filed.

The bad thing is it keeps dragging on as they are only motivated by a little greed, with no understanding of the law.

It's a total waste of time and cost me a little more money, but they will loose this also and they will have to refile it again the right way, and meanwhile our reply will cost them a lot more in money. :D

In the long run they will win this part of the argument, which is getting the unpaid portion of the funds for the property that is being held in escrow by the courts, but if they had just settled with what they agreed to two years ago, and again about a month or so ago, this would have been all over for about the same money as it will cost them to get this far.

And still the case wont be settled..

So far the court has already ordered them to pay us 25000p in attorney fees and court cost back, we also have liens on about 12 of their property's so sooner or later they will have to settle with us if they want to sell anything, or we will just refuse to sign off. :island14:

For us to argue getting the right of way back would be a whole different court, a cost quite a bit more, so thinking I will just sit back and wait for them to want to sell something instead, and force them into a cash settlement if they want us to sign off on the liens.

Might be a year or two, maybe longer, but sooner or later they will want to sell something as they have quite a bit of land here that was left to them and out of the four kids that inherited the land, they all live in the USA and none of them want to live here.. they just want what money they can get for selling.

I understand the intent to populate the board and create the illusion of activity, but you have to see it through consumer eyes as well.
If the board allows that much garbage, not only will people not want to place an ad there, but they just won't browse the site at all. Spam carries a VERY negative connotation, people hate it and actively avoid it, and even like one of the "not gonna click" comments posted here, equate it to scams and malware.

You've linked to that board several times since it was started, and I've looked at it just as many times, and though I'm conditioned to that sort of thing and "not scared" by it...I think the average Joe internet user will run (not walk) away from that site, and avoid it in the future, and that is actually worse than no activity at all.
I'd clean that crap up now, and be aggressive about policing it. Anyone legitimately looking to place an ad would much rather have the only ad than be found in a sea of that garbage. Just my $.02
