Didn't really crash into wall. More like bushes/curb. But NBC so understandable.

I've driven a '62, and it was not the best handling thing I ever sat my ass in. It felt really heavy, so what happened to that guy is no surprise. He was still being a dumbass though.

My first car, in '66 after my Army one month and out for spine problems, I was age 22, and bought my first car a '60 vette for a grand....noticing and hearing of them being tail assed light, I put some sand in the trunk, in the paper sacks, then down into the tire well, and sure enough it got WET, adding enough weight to greatly stress the fiberglass......can did handle fairly well though, but noticing the problems, I shoveled it out.....

and wooden you know it, after a date one night, in the friggin rain....I rounded a corner and it swung out on me, and into a pole head on.....

could have fixed it for 800 bux, but insurance companies would not insure the car anymore.....so I bought a drag race Pontiac instead.....

wound up driving for some 8 years without insurance, because of moving in/out of states that did not require auto insurance to drive....
been a while.....

:sadangel: my '60 was red but with black coves.....:sadangel:

I've owned my 62 for over 30 years and driven it across country and with radial tires and the front suspension in good shape, they handle very well indeed for a 50 year old car. They were good enough to race and competed very well.....so don't be dissin ma baby! :D
