We are looking at several houses right now. 2 in my town and 2 in surrounding towns. It isn't so much about where as it is about why. We have way too much house now and want to downsize. We put on a big addition 11 years ago for my MIL, but she has been gone now for a few years and we don't need what is basically 2 houses!

Same thing happened when we sold our last house. WE were having one built nearby, but it was nowhere near ready. We arranged with the buyer to rent back to us for a few months. Funny thing was, I had to pay a cleaning deposit on the house I was already living in.:yesnod:
