My G/F and I just got back from a week in England. One of the highlights of the trip was what's called the Jaguar Heritage Drive. We went to Coventry to a track called Fen End (a former RAF airfield now used by Jaguar as a test track) where I was able to drive a 1963 E-Type and then a 2015 F-Type around the test track with a Jaguar Test Driver along for the ride.

Absolutely incredible experience. Once I shoehorned my way into the E-Type (OMG it's TIGHT), the drive itself was awesome. Perfectly restored example maintained by Jaguar. An absolute blast to drive around the track. Then the F-Type was...well...it was driving in a whole different realm. The car really becomes part of you. If you're heading for the UK, this is a great experience.

Now the F-Type:

Some of the classic Jags on display in the mini-museum. That's D-Type number 1 right there.

What a great thing to do on a UK trip. It's on my bucket list for sure. Thanks for that info.

With the top up on the E type it would be impossible to slide into that little door. And the pedals are close together are they not? No size 12s allowed!

That is cool! For me, the 63 would be a dream come true to drive.

So, how long before you are a proud owner of a Jag?

Nope. I had quite enough of right-hand drive vehicles, thankyouverymuch :ack:

Not long :D
