I had to take it out and get a shot off, so I whacked an icicle off of the corner gutter of the house.....What a lovely ring that has.....I can't wait to do some target shooting...It's like 8* though , so I'll have to wait until its 40* next week...I'll go semi this week end though, and shake it down...This thing is surprisingly light, at 6 lbs. and short, and compact....I really like the feel of it...Pretty gun too...Stainless steel barrel, and plastic stock....:D

Great gun.....The king of semi auto .22s.Please don't fcuk it up by hanging a lot of "tactical" junk on it.......:)

I bought the black synthetic with blued metal. After a while I really wanted a wood stock so I bought one on ebay, there are tons of them. Fun little plinker, but it really only likes the factory rotary magazines when its cold out. If I use the eagle mags, it has feeding issues.

I have two of them, one is in a fullsized stock and the other is in a cutdown stock for my grandsons to shoot. They are great guns, after my grandsons grow up I am going to put the short stocked one in an M1 Carbine stock. A couple of guys on another forum I belong to did that and they look really good.

The first picture is of 10/22 with a standard M1 Carbine stock , the second and third is with a paratrooper stock.

22's are great fun. I started collecting them a long time ago. My son took the Ruger Stainless with multicolored laminated stock when he got married and bought his own house and gun safe.

Claimed it was a present I gave him for Christmas. Also missing from my 22 collection is a beautiful Winchester 9422, that somehow came with no checkering on the wood. Only one I ever saw uncheckered. Also claimed as a Christmas present. :)

My Ruger 22 is a 7722. It looks just like it's centerfire Ruger 77 brothers.
Nice walnut and finish.

After the CACC Turkey shoot and car show.

First and 2nd place. Closest to center, I took out the X and WJ winged the X for 2nd.
