It looks like we're stuck with time changes, so what about this: The hour we lose with DST shouldn't take an hour out of Sunday morning sleep time. It should happen at 4:00 p.m. on a Friday when no one wants to be at work anymore anyway, and the Country says, "**** it...let's call it 5:00 p.m. and everybody can go home."
now you are thinking....about damn time.
even better: retire.

Let's do like the rest of the world and just stop it all together.
I'm thinking union rules would prohibit this. After all, salaried folks would work one hour less and still get paid the same, but hourly union folks would lose an hour's pay.
STRIKE!

When i lived in Europe and S. Korea there was no DST and everything worked out just fine. Leave well enough alone.
