Cat on a Hot Asphalt Roof: Well, Not Hot Today, Actually

So it's been a week since Fuzzball was spayed. She's been whining all week wanting to go outside. Vet OK'd her going out Sat., but I kept her in. Today, I give in and let her out even though it's rained most of the day. So, a half hour later, I go out to check on her. I hear meowing.....from above. Yup, Fuzzball is on the garage roof. How the $%^& did that happen? After about 10 minutes of coaxing, I got her to come to me as I stood on the tailgate of the truck.

Brought her back inside, and now the whining has resumed.

Fuzzball has a perfectly good dog to play with, along with a bunch of toys, scratching posts, and other cat-phernalia. Read my lips: No New Cats*.
