Cincinnati man accused of 'sexting' 9-year-old

CINCINNATI, OH - A Cumminsvile man is facing charges after police say he send lewd pictures to a 9-year-old girl.

Antonio Daria, 26, is charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.

According to the arrest report, Daria sent reckless text messages to the girl about partying, and also sent a photo of his genitalia.

He sent the photos early Sunday morning, and was arrested Wednesday afternoon. He is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.

I will be the last one to EVER defend somebody who does something like that but this story seems a little odd...

1.) Has anybody proven that the picture was meant to go to a 9 year old? Could it have been that some chick in a bar the night before gave him a fake number or something like that? What could possibly be gained out of sending things like that to a 9 year old... even if the person was a disturbed pedophile I still don't see the gain for him.

2.) Like was said above... WTF is a 9 year old doing with a cell phone?

When I send any pic it is to a contact, not a random, "just got it yesterday" number. If he did just get the number, why tf is he sending his junk to it? I think at a minumum I would send a couple preceeding texts to make sure I had the right number. Stupid gets what it deserves.

I bought a cell for my daughter when she was 10. She takes the bus to and from school, and gets dropped off a mile from her aunts home in the afternoon. I want her to be able to call me in case of trouble.

I agree completely that stupid gets what it deserves and in no way am I defending this guy but the intent greatly changes things in this case. A dumbass that accidentally sent a picture to a 9 year old is a completely different level than somebody who intentionally sent something like that to a 9 year old.

One is an idiot that needs to be kicked in the nuts repeatedly. The other is somebody who needs to be dismembered and die a horrific painful death.
