I had to go to both Wal-Mart Marketplace and Sam's Club today, with my wife, while it is snowing, with possibly the most idiots per square foot out driving today in recent memory. The stuff I saw cannot go unseen.

One guy in particular I just wanted to throttle. Was trying to make a left into Sam's Club, off Rangeline, right by I-44. Probably one of the busiest roads in SW Missouri. This guy didn't get in the turning lane, well, just enough to block it and the inside lane. He was a good 40 feet from where he should be turning, and sat there blocking traffic and refusing to go even when he had a good two blocks of clearance. Twice somebody had enough and tried to go around him, only for him to lurch and almost hit them. I couldn't take it, but figured he'd wait for the red and go on the green arrow. So finally he gets the green arrow, and isn't paying attention. He's ON THE PHONE NOW and doesn't see the green arrow. People are honking at him, and he finally goes, flipping everyone behind him off.

I seriously debated finding him in the parking lot and doing a nice little beat down on that shithead, but I'm not that guy (plus I was carrying...)

I did my Wally trip today as well, and it went fine, until we got back to the house when the roommate (total knee 5 weeks ago/first trip to Walmart since surgery) decided that I'm an idiot and, despite my suggestion that she not try and carry too much, tried to carry too much and fell as she entered the house. I just happened to be letting fly on a Level 60 piss that I had been holding since frozen foods (because I'd rather eat cereal out of the ass end of a dead rhino than use a Walmart bathroom), and I hear a crash and the cry of ultimate pain. I thought "oh my God, she's broken her leg/hip/other knee/new knee!"

My brain turned off that point and I spring into action. Face-planted into the hallway laundry hamper, trying to get my pants up, still pissing the whole way. Hit the kitchen doorway with my junk, sliding on the legs of my pants. Finally got my piss-soaked pants up and she's halfway in the doorway of the house, surrounded by more groceries than *I* would carry, because I'm not a friggin' moron. Got her up and to the couch, got a badass painpill for her to take and I finish bringing in the groceries and get everything put away before I check on her...

"Why do you smell like pee?"

I held my tongue... until I got out of the shower...

Apex: "So, what happened?"

Roomie: "Bags got caught on the doorjamb and I was looking at the cats' water to see if it was full and I was carrying too much and went off balance and fell."

Apex: "Ahh. Carrying too much."

Roomie: "F*ck you."

Did the Big Lots, Sam's Club and Pet Smart run all in one long swoop through the armpit of Evansville. Things went well until the trip home out of the city. Some ass munch decided at the last moment to turn right instead of left and narrowly missed the front of the truck. This was cutting across a thru lane and RR tracks to get in front of me in the turn lane. Glad I was paying attention because the aftermath would not have been pretty.
To top off the jerk flipped me off when I passed him on the four lane. I just shook my head and wished good things to happen to him like a flat tire or loss of steering so a tree could stop him.

My main mission was Grocery Odds and Ends. I detoured into Sporting Goods for a few minutes though. They have a good deal on RV Antifreeze I noticed. Vato Zone charges like 5 bucks for a gallon of the pink stuff, I think Wally had it for about $3.50 :yesnod:
