I just finished "One Second After". It's the story in which one man struggles to save his family and his small North Carolina town after America loses a war, in one second, a war that will send America back to the Dark Ages...A war based upon a weapon, an Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP). A weapon that may already be in the hands of our enemies.

The book is very thought provoking with current events.

If three large nuclear bombs were blown up over the USA at an altitude of about 50 miles, we would indeed be screwed. It would fry almost everything.

I'm behind on my reading.

I have a few on the bookshelf waiting. "Killing Patton" will probably be next. :seasix:

Just started "Target Patton" by Robert Wilcox.

Another in the line of Patton was killed on purpose after the war was won books.

Something I firmly believe (since about 1970) happened and our government did it!

from the book review
"This is a great adventure story—the life of a war correspondent on the front lines for five decades, eye-witness to come of the most violent and heroic scenes in recent history."
