Have to wait to see who Tony has picked. They were planning on a replacement if something like this happened.

NASCAR suspends Kurt Busch after domestic violence details
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- NASCAR suspended Kurt Busch indefinitely Friday after a judge said the former champion almost surely choked and beat a former girlfriend last fall and there was a ''substantial likelihood'' of more domestic violence from him in the future.

That woman has snakes in her head, but Kurt is probably fecked anyway. Nascar has tapes of every word on the radio, and every action at the track. His actions there precede this current debacle, and are a matter of record.

Unfortunately it's not relegated to just major league sports.
It's too bad that anger management isn't taught in elementary school as a required subject.
nascar needs female fans far more than it needs him. duh.

I hate to disagree with you but it's not the elementary school's responsibility to teach anger management.

But it's up to the parents not the .gov school to teach kids respect. Problem is, too often the problem arises out of single parent homes. Usually dad less. And drug and alcohol abuse is a common equation.

Like I would even know how to teach that to someone. A professional approach would seem to me to be the best approach. The DARE program seems to have worked, albeit not totally. It's simply education, like health class was.
Geez!! Maybe it would even prevent some whackjob kid from shooting a school up.

Yeah, the country can afford to have professional instruction on not being a d*ckhead taught to every child so the parents don't have to

They could incorporate it into 5th grade health class.
The country???
Ya, it's going to hell in a hand basket.
Investments in certain things pay dividends.
It's s foolish liberal position to advocate the public school system can teach young men not to beat up on women.
It's not the educators job to raise children.

With the rampant lack of success in teaching real things like math and reading, why not add something like this just so the sponges don't have to worry about it? (Not like they are anyway)

5th grade is way tooooo late. If you as a parent do not have control over your children before they start kindergarten it is probably too late. Respect starts at home.
And I have sat through the DARE curriculum. Not impressed.
Ever had a 5 year old tell you "I don't have to mind you"?
Now back to racing....Ya think Kyle's leg is broke?

Crafton in for Bush. I never liked Kyle B.'s attitude, but he is a racer in my opinion. He is out there to race and win each time. Chase Elliot said the new rule of not 'locking bumpers' has them constantly bumping each other instead. That is what is causing some of the problems. Stupid NASCAR rules. They let the crazy Mexican run through the pits and hit two cars and almost run over another crew member without a penalty. Jr. clips the corner of a 4th pit space (no car in it) and gets penalized. I love Daytona or I wouldn't bother watching it. Dad started taking us there around 1970. How things have changed since then.

One doesn't have to sire offspring to understand the role of educators. And as a contributor to the public school system, my views are quite creditable.
And the "perfect" comment is typical of one with no real facts to support his position.

They wrote NASCAR a huge check for it. I stopped keeping up with it after the series were called - Winston and Busch. I also hate it when the TV commentators say something like - 'He is a 5 time Xfinity champion' etc...It wasn't 'Xfinity' until now, but the companies pay huge money to get their names repeated over and over by the talking heads. Tempted to turn the audio off and turn on MRN for the audio.

I disagree with the last part of the statement. More of this problem is the kids that have fathers that beat their mothers and the kids see this. Then they are either not taught that this is wrong or know its wrong but are not taught other ways to combat anger and repeat the process!

:iagree:
If teaching comes from both sources, then great.
Abuse is a learned behavior, and if one is taught to abuse by an abusive father, it turns into a generational thing unless there are outside influences to teach them otherwise.

Then the abusive father accuses the .gov of not allowing him to raise his kids...

Yes.
Notice I said often. Same with drug and alcohol. Not always but a lot of times it's involved. Maybe most?
The few examples I know of personally. Absent fathers, drugs, poverty. All are part of it.
And I can see Jeff79's point. I just don't educators are equipped to deal with it. And it's not their job.
Counseling may be a way to break the chain. Secular or faith based.
Terrible and often generational. The real war on women. :( not some liberal bull chit about who's gonna pay for birth control.
