I may hate cold weather, but the vette sure loves it!
When I left work this morning it was 34 degrees. As I got on the interstate(it's only 3/4 mile to my exit) a WRX came flyin up on my arse. Same guy has done this a couple times over the last few months. Usually I just keep pluggin to my exit, and get off.
Not this morning snapperhead! No traffic, and not one car all the way to the bend about a mile up. I hammered the throttle, she dropped down into second gear and I was GONE!
Felt like somebody hit me with a shot of NOS. The Vortex was throwin that cold air in there and she was eating it up. Last I saw the little Subaru, he was about a quarter mile back and getting smaller fast. I let off at a buck fourty, and coasted to the next exit, to let him catch up. I wanted to see if he got on I-81 N.
He stayed with me pretty darn good on the ramp, but couldn't hang once we got to the bottom and I let her eat some more of that cold air.
Cool mornings + corvette + Kid in ricer = lotsa fun for me! :D

Drove mine to work this morning too and all I can say is that it didn't take me near as long as it usually does in the Tacoma :D

Good kill! Did you at least give him a :bye:

My motor loves the cold air but my tires hate the cold roads. Sideways merging onto 66. :D

Didn't have any problems with the A/S super sport BFG's. Normally the runflats would have been spinning like crazy.
But then again, when you're pushing the kinda numbers you are Kevin, no tire isn't going to kick out. :o_o:

Thanks for sharing your kill story, always fun to beat someone down.

I am installing a meth kit right now so I can enjoy lower temps year round.
