It was tongue in cheek with all kinds of pretty good jokes and cameos from everyone that was on the series. Sheen never actually shows up in person.
Ended with Chuck Lorre getting a baby grand dropped on his head.

That show was over as soon as Charlie Sheen left. I saw about 1/2 an episode after his departure and that was all I could stomach.

And you base your observation on that? It DID run another four years. You should have watched it a few more times.....it got better.
Never enjoyed the show. Even when Sheen was there. The housekeeper was the only character I found funny.

I don't know that it got better...but I kept watching for a couple seasons after Sheen left...but then it just go too bizarre for my tastes because I think the writers ran out of new ideas. I got bored with it and just stopped watching.
I did catch the finale last night simply because it was on after The Odd Couple (Which has great potential!)...didn't stay glued to the set...enjoyed the parts where they addressed the camera and make fun of themselves. But I won't miss the show, obviously.
I didn't get the ending though...to me I thought dropping the one piano and have him deliver the line would have been better.

The point of the 2 pianos was that 1) sheen/charlie is now definitely dead 2) chuck lorre is dead, and with both of them dead, there is no chance of sheen ever coming back.
The end of episode vanity card was pretty damn funny.

Ignorant humor.:kick:

The "Rose" character was funny too. I lost interest when Sheen became a very public imbecile.

It might boil down to the fact that I can't stand Ashton Kutcher or how ever you spell his name. To me, he is a hack, and is about as non funny as they get. The fat kid on the show turned into a real peice of work too. Seriously, I couldn't bear to watch it.

I've always thought Lorre has looked like a douche through this entire thing, so this is a fitting end.

not really. I LOVE Big Bang Theory. :D :seasix:

The Nielsen Ratings are out and The Big Bang Theory has a very strong showing in the old-and-bitter demographic. :seasix:

Most of the shows these days are filmed in front of a LIVE studio audience. (remember Tool Time....they showed them):yesnod:
I like to see the out takes from the shows....they're funnier than the shows!
I like Lorre's idea on Sheen's cameo at the end. That would have been hilarious!
