Too bad I can't be there to kick y'alls butts.
Then again, they are carts and I'm a huge mother phucker, so strike that. If the karts don't have 505 HP, I'm screwed.

back when i raced karts (90's) we'd go to the rent a ride amusement places and wreak holy terror on them. Got thrown out of one in Charlotte one time when we all showed up with helmets ( there was a national event kart race in town)

AIK allows you to bring helmets and has some pretty nice Karts, it ain't your old putter karts and since they'll run up to 45 mph you don't want to be banging into each other I have the scars to show for when that happens!

There isn't much I miss about living in VA but Vettes at Waterside (or at the track) is certainly among them.
AIK was always a good time as well. Sad I won't get to be there.

Do we just give the $10 for the cookout to Gary or what? He owes me money anyway. :leaving:
I'm now working in Hampton, VA. I could actually do this...

The Richmond facility got all the new karts. The new facility in Fredericksburg got all the 'old' karts from the Richmond location. They're still fast.

Everyone,
GB Vette is being called away for business that weekend so we are going to move the location of the cookout on Sunday, May 1, 2011.
The new location will be the same as the car show on Saturday. We will be serving a Barbeque lunch catered by Wood Chicks Barbeque on Sunday at noon at American Indoor Karting. Cost is still $10.00 per person.
Please continue to RSVP to
[email protected] to get your name on the list.
