before giving it some thought: What movie character are you like? Now don't say "Dirty Harry" or "James Bond" just because that's who you wanna be like. I'm talking about a character that represents you, at least to a large extent. You don't have to look like that character or be in the same business or even the same period in time. Tell us why you are that character, why you like (or dislike) him/her, and his/her effect on you. It'd be interesting to know your sex (whether you're male or female, not what kind you like).

For me, it's Chief Gillespie (Rod Steiger) in In the Heat of the Night. I certainly don't look like him, and I'm not a LEO. But, I do talk fast like him, I do a pretty thankless job, I'm a big fish in a very small pond, and I often piss off the very people I'm trying to help by doing my job. And like him, I've had some personal demons, but most of all he learned he's fallible.

For a time years back, I was pretty close to Charlie on Two and a Half Men (without the financial backing however.).

More recently, Al Bundy.

Those are both TV characters so as far as movies go, I guess I have been migrating toward the Clint Eastwood character in Gran Torino. More people need a throat punch than I can even count. BUT, there is some good in most people.

I'm a cross between Ronnie Barnhardt (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/observe_and_report/) and George Costanza (http://www.sonypictures.com/tv/shows/seinfeld/).

Unlike Ronnie, I'm not a security guard, nor am I actually on any medication.

Unlike George, I'm young, somewhat in shape, and have a full head of hair.

Otherwise, spot-on

Ok, I asked my wife last night too, and she just txt me and said Bradley Cooper from the Hangover...I'll take that as a compliement I guess!! I couldn't really think of anyone on my own other than Brad Pitt from Fight Club, but I think that was just wishful thinking!!

The movie character most like me is Po, from Kung Fu Panda.

We're both fat, both work in food service, but aspire to something more than that, the way to get through to us our stomachs, we are inherently good, we take our licks but won't quit, but pick on our friends and SHAZZABOOIE!... we'll surprise the shit out of you and kick your ass.
