I am currently paying $374.70 (Comprehensive/Collision) annually for my '73 through State Farm with an agreed to value of $24,000. $250.00 deductible.
I am wondering if I can do better, and am considering calling Adam Boca at the National Corvette Museum. My buddy Ron (Cuisinartvette) has his El Camino insured through them for an agreed to value of 60k and I think he is paying less than me.
What are you paying? :waiting:

My car through NCM is a little more but I have the 6000 mile option and drive to work, plus a higher value. Give Adam a call and see

$107 for full coverage for a '79 Vette. It ain't worth much so that's prolly why the insurance is so cheap

That's the thing, mine isn't worth that much either. I'm thinking about dropping the value down to 15k and raising the deductible a little bit to save some money. 400 bucks a year is a bit steep for a vehicle that doesn't get driven that much.

Call Condon Skelly too. If your car is over 25 years old you are paying wayyy too much.

A year works out to about $36/ month for my DeLorean.
With Hagerty, for my '75, full replacement coverage of $16,000, $207 a year.
I am paying $530 for my 04 Z06 Commemorative. 3K miles per year, drive to work option, $25K stated value.

My '69 was around $300/year as I recall for about the same agreed value.
I called state farm for a quote way back when. when they said I couldn't even drive it to get ice cream on a nice summer evening, they were out.

It is a '67, complete Frame Off. It is like a Brand New Car. You might laugh, but it took him over 10 years to do it. The Motor is special, 650+ HP.

I gotcha, the value is a replacement value, not a retail value.

Insurance through NCM is $136.76 YEARLY for 1k miles annually, 15k Agreed Value, NO DEDUCTIBLE.
I can add a "Drive to work" provision for about 50 bucks more per year, which really isn't necessary as I only live about 1.5 miles from work and leave so early in the morning that I wouldn't drive the car.
I'll be switching to NCM this month for sure. :yesnod:

I had Adam/Bobby Jo quote 3 of our vehicles:
- 1996 Corvette Grand Sport
- 1972 El Camino
- 2002 Maserati Spyder
12 month coverage, 250K/500K liability, $500 deductible for comprehensive.
Total for the 3 cars was $1,345 - but, that includes $190 per vehicle for Michigan's 'unlimited medical payments' fiasco.
Give Adam a call and let him quote your car! We found he was much cheaper than some and slightly more than the quotes we got from others.
PS: My El Camino isn't worth $60K. Nope.

roughly $30/mo for the classic mini. That only covers injury to others. The company wouldn't give me any more coverage even though the car is worth less than a really nice road bicycle (and is just as dangerous to others).
