How long before you get another?

I'm looking at some other classic cars. I always wanted me a '57 Chevy.
So far nothing is jumping out at me.
I still have the DeLorean. :driving:

Atlanta guy took the '05 and the '66.
I've been w/o a Vette since 2010. Probably not have another. :island14:
Wife needs a new Honda (30K)...I'll buy a modest center console boat (20K)...so there's no Vette funds available.

I'm waiting for Iraqi Dinars to bottom out, so I can get in on that action. Once the Caliphate seizes power completely, that shit has got to be worth quite a bit. At least their money will be backed by (a) god.
since october 2010. and likely to remain that way failing a large infusion of cash.

All you need is some dope.
Sell the dope. Then buy a car.
Hope this helps. :cert:
Oh, and if'n you make the dope yourself, you won't need as much dope. You can still buy the car though.

we had two dry spells.
Once when we sold #4...our 1985 - bought new; sold it in 1990.
Vetteless for 11 years; never thought we'd own another one - until we bought #5 the 2002 new.
Then sold #6 and #7 in May of 2014. Vetteless for 5 months for the 2015. This last wait almost killed me.

It was amazing that a couple of your fellow Floridians knew of your car and a few in your area had even stopped to look at it without you knowing before it was for sale. And it was nice of them to vouch for the car to any prospective buyers. :yesnod:
Good place to buy and sell the old vettes. I've got deals on parts at great prices as well over there.

That's what's so cool about them. When the C6 came out, there wasn't enough difference between it and the C5. Some even branded it the C5.5 because of the lack of revolution. It was more like a slight evolution. The C7 did what the C3 did. Totally new look.
Don't know which is worse, being Vetteless or having one that hasn't seen the light of day in 25+ years.:(

Actually that's the reason I sold them. Not driving them.
Tired of paying for upkeep due to them just sitting around.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinion but I like the C7 (other than the tail lights)
I suppose that over the years there have been various Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche purists that decried new models also Life goes on

At one time I had six classics and my truck, mostly sitting around...let's face it you can't drive or take care of all of them like they should be. So I got down to two keepers and the truck, and now I'm back up to six! Not classics but they all still need maintenance. I'm dumping two hooptys in the spring. :seeya:
And it's worse up here with finding shelter for them. One winter I had a 67 Impala and a 65 Mustang sitting up to their tits in snow!
