Just another hooptie p/u.....trick is the key will not lock/unlock the damn latch and I tried taking the damn inner metal panel off but the stupid electric locks are tight as hell now, must have bent a control rod, but the freeking window mechanism is stupidly mounted on the whole damn liner so I have NO way to remove all that shit and get at the stupid lock mechanism...fought that bitch for over TWO hours yesterday....too much with cold/wind to fight it today...

any clues man???

On the 95+ trucks, which were similar...the lock rod and door rod terminate at the inner handle. If you bent one of the rods...i dunno, gonna have to id it, and unbend it...then start fresh.

If the power locks aren't working, check the wires inside the loom between the door and the A pillar, I've had several break there due to the bending from opening and closing the door. If the key won't turn, spray in the cylinder with brake cleaner and wd40, my wife's car had all the cylinders froze up from never being used (power locks used all the time). I managed to get the doors to work finally, still can't get the trunk to turn. Lesson learned, open the doors with the key at least once a year
