I had no idea that Marmaduke was ever popular enough to warrant a feature film adaptation, but there ya go. Not only is it popular enough for a movie, its popular enough to spend however much Owen Wilson costs...

Wow, a movie that will actually be worse than Lady in the Water! I hate Marm with a passion, as well as the idiot who cashes in on that ridiculous cartoon.

I watched the life aquatic with steve zissou today and I think owen played a good character..I love that move

The animated specials were ok... I believe Bill Keane just won't allow a film to be made. Otherwise, you can be sure there would be one.

Funny you mention Calvin and Hobbes... Bill Keane, creator of Family Circus, threw a little hissy fit when Calvin and Hobbes creator Bill Watterson retired. He publicly said it was "unfair" to the readers. I felt the same way. :willy:

well they had a cartoon show for 2 seasons that was pretty funny.
