The cabin is in a small neighborhood, but it's surrounded by National Forest. The neighborhood looks like something out of a Norman Rockwell Painting. :yesnod:

A lot of the cabins are 70-100 years old. Short drive (2 miles) will get you into Wilderness...FAST. Mountain Lion, Bear, Coyote are routinely found wandering around the neighborhood.

I'll get some pics up as time goes on.

our house is at about 6925 (based on a benchmark of 6906 near the new shop area, which is downhill of the house).

we have bears, coyotes, bobcats, cougars, and deer just outside the house. don't wander too far after dark. and carry a pistol. always. always.
