View Full Version : Time for a new career path?
I am a food safety/quality assurance guy in the food processing world. I'm at a point in my career that I'm not sure things will be any different anywhere I go since it has been the same everywhere I have been. I have been interviewing elsewhere but haven't found anything that is really very promising.
The bad: I'm a terrible liar, have a difficult time smiling when being buried under a pile of poo, not great at reading emotions/body language and have a tendency to speak over people's heads on technical subjects.
The good: I am great at retaining and interpreting laws and regulations, have no problem putting in as many hours as necessary to get the job done and my best work is done under pressure.
Is there anything out there that is just plain old honest work that I can feel good about at the end of the day and pays well?

Reduce your standard of living, save like crazy, tell them bye-bye. Retire happy and rich.
A job is not an end. It's a means to an end.

Go get a BS in Mechanical Engineering...you'd be perfect.

Did this get posted all Matrix style and using your name? I say because I'm pretty much the same way. And yes, I've been looking around to.
