Train against 18 wheeler?.....maybe a little more even, but a car...? Poof, dust in the wind. :(

We had one vs a loaded 10 wheel gravel dump truck coming down a hill a while ago:

About 100 yards. Train was only going 5 mph.

Wow! only 5mph?

And if it had been up to speed, how far till it stopped?

Train wrecks are nothing to play with. I see people stopped on the tracks locally every now and then...I think to myself I REALLY should invest in a true set of train horns for the truck. Then I have a more mature thought and I think that I could in some deep shit for having one...even away from train tracks.

Note Bawltimore, and the typical communist/liberal crybaby comments.....:sadangel:

and just maybe 3 miles away there is a main N/S track through OP, with several wide commercial highways......ONE is not but 2 lane from an industrial park/loop to rt 17 so not all THAT heavy traveled.... been here since '97, nothing YET......pretty well controlled but....just a matter of time.....
