So when did a 30% chance of snow become a 30% chance that it would not snow? I obviously missed the memo on this one. :skia: :toetap:

If the forecaster is only 30% sure that precipitation will occur, and expects that, if it does occur, it will produce measurable rain over about 80 percent of the area, the PoP (chance of rain) is 24%. ( PoP = .3 x .8 which equals 24% )

Gee. Here I always thought the answer was 42. No matter what. So now Barbie Boy it's 24? I think I have gotten kicked off of the important memo list. I shall file a case with the supreme court on the grounds that my right to be notified has been offended. Know any good lawyers? :D

Weather Forecasting in Florida was pretty accurate, I got pretty used to watching the weather in the morning and having a pretty good idea what was going to happen that day.

Houston on the other hand, these guys don't have a f'kin clue, if they say it's going to rain I might as well leave the top at home cause it's a pretty sure thing it'll be dry all day....They forecast no rain on the other hand better bring a damn umbrella. It's merely a crap shoot as to how inaccurate the forecast will be.
