Deals can be made. Not huge rebates, but lots off of sticker.
Nice demo. Does it come with a liner, or do you have to treat it like a car and not use the bed?

They're getting rid of demo's at work, because of the f'k bags who keep wrecking them. Otherwise I would have bought an Explorer for the fiance.

I really considered the EcoBoost, now that they're shipping. But I'll probably never pull a trailer, and I'd enjoy the V8 sound over 1 extra MPG.

Ford recalls 281,000 F-150 trucks in U.S.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Automotive News | February 3, 2011 - 10:01 am EST
DETROIT (Reuters) -- Ford Motor Co. is recalling nearly 281,000 F-150 pickup trucks in the United States because of a potential problem with the door handles not working properly, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reported today.
Model years 2009 and 2010 F-150 trucks produced from January 2008 to November 2009 are being recalled because in the event of a crash, "the door handle spring can fail causing the door latch to open," NHTSA said in a filing.
As of Jan. 21, there had been no reported accidents or injuries related to this issue, Ford told NHTSA.
Ford said that customers will initially be asked to bring their F-150s to dealerships if any door handle is loose or fails to return to a stowed position.
Later, once replacement parts are available, owners will be asked to bring in their trucks for inspection at Ford or Lincoln dealerships, the filing said.

Up north, yes. Down here we can get 4x4's cheap, which is why we do well with them on ebay. Diesel 4x4's are all over the place here, and can be bought for nothing. We're actually working on a large scale program designed to take more advantage of that than we were in the past.
Being from the snow states, I had to take all my years of truck experience and totally flip it.
A clean truck is a clean truck.
4x4 may add value, but a clean 2wd still brings good money.
AFAIK.

Nah... I have a friend that is 6ft 3 and at the time he bought his 93 Cobra weighed close to 300 pounds. He was able to get in the car! (with the seat all the way back and the steering wheel tilted up). He also at that time had a 92 ex police car coupe and a 96 GT.

If you or someone on the forum just bought a vehicle with a known default, especially a safety default that just came out that morning, wouldn’t you want to know?
In Lars case, I brought it up because a neighbor had a similar truck that had this issue. It caused him to flip his truck. Sure didn’t want to think I knew about this and didn’t tell Lars if something bad did happen.
I think Lars understood and he even thanked me after I asked him to PLEASE have this checked out. Link to post below:
Corvette Forum - View Single Post - New Truck... (http://forums.corvetteforum.com/1576540538-post60.html)
No need for apologies from anyone, some people rub others the wrong way. Out of thousands of posts and members, someone’s going to get pissed somewhere along the way.
REPO has had a hard-on for me since I don’t know when, not that I really GAF but so it goes.

Hey Nate, I understand, but you know that Tony works at a Ford dealership, yet the very second line in your post brings up the Ford F150 recall.
Did you think that a Ford dealer wouldn't know about the recalls?
Would it make a difference if anyone was going to buy one? No, as long as they fixed the problem.
GM, Chrysler, Toyota, etc. have plenty of recalls. Should people never buy those vehicle because of that?
Sorry, but it just seems that you love to lambaste Ford as often as you can.
And covering by saying that you "almost bought a Ford" or you "like them" is a very thin disguise for your love of GM and your GMC.
I also do not have a problem with your liking GM more than any other company. Everyone has a right to their opinion. :yesnod:
