View Full Version : Stewart Scott
Passed away this morning. ESPN did a very nice tribute to a guy that changed the rules for sports anchors. Just before Stuart moved to ESPN, he did a stint as the lead sports guy on our local station and you could tell he was going to go national very quickly. Guy was an on air original.

I knew he wasn't doing well but I hadn't kept up enough lately to realize he was that bad off.

He had cancer 3 times dating back to his initial diagnosis in 07.
He was a fighter.
Sorry to see this. I didn't watch him, but I knew his story. Bless his soul.

I have a strong opinion on this subject. But I don't want to hijack the thread. And, I'd have to go out to the garage and dig out my flame suit. :D

I'm thinking $$$$$, drug companies, medical testing, facilities, docs, etc. Think about all the fallout if a cure was available.
