Just found out lost a friend

I went up to Michigan in August to see my parents and a friend of mine I met through the CF. His screen name was 1blubyu. He was at several Cruise In's and I think he might have made it to a barn raising in BG. I found out he had cystic fibrosis in his lungs. I couldn't believe how frail he looked when I visited with him. I spent the day chatting it up and ran some errands with him. He showed me around his home town and had a good visit. I hadn't received any emails from him and our Christmas card went unanswered from him. I checked online this morning and found he had passed away about a week after our visit.

I had a much younger friend with the same disease. They told him he wouldn't live out his teenage years. He managed to prove them wrong. He then got a phone call that a donor had been found and received a double lung transplant. He is doing well today and in his 30s.

I too lost a olde tyme buddy from '60 yet in HS, he passed in FW/Crowley Tx. 7/11/14 found out the hard way on doing .net search for obits.....:sadangel:
