Just tried to download the new monthly calendar from the Museum but keep getting a 403 access (do not have permission to access the site / server) error code.

Is it just me or can no one access it at this time?

National Corvette Museum (http://www.corvettemuseum.org/)

Opens up just fine for me

Interesting, no matter which browser I use (IE, Firefox, or the preferred Chrome) I get the same 403 error. Anybody have a suggestion?

I can access the store at "corvettemuseum.com" but cannot get into the "corvettemuseum.org" side of the website via WiFi although my cell-phone works on cellular data. I'll reset the FiOS modem and see if that clears it up.

You might try rebooting your computer, I sometimes have some DNS issies after my computer has not booted in a couple months.

I've deleted and re-added Google Chrome, manually reset the FiOS router, rebooted my PC and am at my wit's ends.

I now get a 403 error when trying to access either "Corvettemuseum.org" or "Corvettemuseum.com" but I can get in via AnonyMouse proxy server which makes me wonder if the NCM is blocking my IP for some reason or if Verizon is the one with the problem. Again, I am looking for suggestions.

Did you renew your membership? :waiting:

No, but I've been a proud Lifetime Member since 2009. Regardless, I am only trying to access pages that are open to the public that do NOT require signing in.

If you can access it via mobile or proxy, then yes your IP is probably being denied. I wouldn't expect a 403 response if it were a Verizon issue. Can you ping or trace rte the site?

This email (mailto:[email protected]) is the museum's IT/website guy, send him an email and simply tell him you can access the site via cellphone, but not from your home IP of 108.45.121.211, and you suspect their firewall may have you blocked.
(Providing the IP# will help a lot).

I just tried it. Can't access it either from Google, using safari on my IPad air.

I wonder if it might be security software, or ad blocking software. Somebody else using Fios should try getting the website from Google or Bing, and see what happens.

Whatever the problem was, it seems to have resolved itself.
