This morning at a little after 3am when coming off the turnpike exit ramp I went into a blind sweeping right turn on the ramp (high concrete walls) when suddenly there was a car coming at me. :o_o:
I had literally nowhere to go, started flashing my lights. He stopped the car about one car length from me in a cloud of tire screeching smoke. :o_o: Threw it in reverse, bounced off the tall concrete wall and rode the curved wall until it got low enough to toss the rear on the curb (about 18" high) He then threw it in drive and jumped the curb to the entrance side and got the heck out of there. Don't know how that car is even running. :skep:
I couldn't get out of the truck fast enough to stop this apparently under the influence driver. :toetap: Just hope he didn't take his smashed up Honda and hurt anyone when he took off.

Wow! Definitely had your guardian angel riding point on that one! Glad you're OK.

He was filming the escape scene for an upcoming movie and your presence messed it up. He'll have to try again tomorrow morning.

It's an exit that crosses the tpke and after the cross over it's a blind curve with 4' tall concrete barriers on each side. I saw the lights reflect off the wall and thought it was odd, the then HOLY SHIT factor kicked in. :o_o:

It's good that you were familiar with the situation and awake and aware enough to save yourself.

It's good that you were familiar with the situation and awake and aware enough to save yourself.Good my ass, someone was watching out for me. Literally nowhere to go, scared the heck out of me as I saw it coming and could do nothing to get out of the way.
I bet he left 75 - 100' of skid marks on the ground, had to be moving pretty fast, I was only doing 35 - 40 was able to get stopped fast with the new truck and those huge disc brakes.
