So I put about 30 miles on my new toy before I put it up on (orange)stands to take care of some needed repairs/maintenance.

1) special LT5 oil cooler lines from the midwest- I hope the snow storm doesn't stop USPS.
2) new GY GS-D3's ordered. I'll be lucky if they get here this week. my other tires are more than 10 years old I think-can't really take anymore chances with them.
3) can't wait to restart the engine to verify that the huge vac leak I found fixes the high idle (old rubber PVC thing that all LT5's suffer from).
4) front brakes could use a little attention. Previous owner left me most of the parts to do the C5 front conversion. trying to mock up a corner without instructions- just going by internet pics for now.
5) paid the DMV and spent the hour in line-at least that is done.

gonna have to buy rotors if the parts fit and finish that job too.

I'm dying to drive this thing again.

You sure they (the stands) weren't green before?:D

What is special about the oil cooler lines from a LT5?

You can't get them at auto-zone and 100 percent of all LT5 oil cooler lines are bad from the factory (they go out easy). was making a huge mess of things, but I had to play with it for a couple of drives to get a feel for it.
