Problem is they see it on a map, and it looks like it will save them many miles and get them into NC quickly. That, or they think they're special and ignore the warning signs.

As far as the lake, one of the guys that would go up there with us recently commented "what lake" when we were talking about making another run up there when we get our slingshots. :rofl: We all died laughing because he always used that stretch to hit the damn nitrous so he could be in front on the first run. That guy was dangerous....

50 miles from me and I don't ever remember being on it. I know the legend, etc...they even filmed parts of TLB on it.
