I thought the old Soviet Union disarmed the population. Have they been rearmed?

I heard they rebuilt the Cathedral in the last pix there, the commies tore the OEM one down, and soon as the hard core commies were gone, it was rebuilt.....

Putin/company maybe dictators and hard core administrators.....but they not out and out commies any more.....that shit hit the junk pile quickly.....

they ARE crooks though....all that oil and gas for starters....whole joint run like Mafia ran Chicago....

Last picture is St. Basil's Cathedral and is the original building. It clearly has been cleaned and kept in good repair.

That the one in the central square of Moscow?? if so I heard the commies tore it down....I can't remember the name of the church though....Basil's seems right.....but I could believe some other famous Russian names also.....

It was seized by the authorities during Communist rule, used for non-secular purposes, but not destroyed. It's now a museum. (as are most of the churches on Red Square.)
