Let me tell you about Tom.
He was, by his own admission, an alcoholic pot head.
I tried preaching at him several times to get his shit cleaned up, walk the at least, semi straight and narrow.
Really, a pretty good guy.
Many times, when he was "runnin' shawt" and needing a few bucks, he could always come to yours truly, who would let him work cleaning around the festering shithole of buildings I called a business for an hour or two.
He once explained it to me like this: "Missa Sneeve (Mister Steve....God, how I hated that moniker) I'm free. I sleep wherever, whenever I want. The churches feed me. I sell my cans to you to buy my weed and wine. I pretty much do whatever I damn well please, don't steal or do dumb shit. Lissen' to my music. I'm cool."
Apparently, he was blown away while he slept under a bridge, around the corner from my former business.
For no reason.
He was one of 2.

Mim, who was shot multiple times, was found along Northside Drive and Whitehall Street three days later.

I found out that Tom was hit 7 times with a .45 Long Colt from a distance of less than 10 feet. The cawksocker reloaded so he could continue to shoot Tom. I hope that mutthafukker burns in hell.
