I was thinking "deck move"? and then saw the landings. Holy crap.

Our ship would have flight ops behind the carriers ( pick up anyone blown over the side) and you could actually see the flight deck flex under waves. Very impressive.

You are falling into water- plus it's not flat, wavy water. :lol: We never had to pick anyone up during my time so really can't answer.
