Well I just got a cold awakening.....

51* so I go outside to turn on the sprinklers to get some water on the yard I always inspect them to make sure they are streaming properly and that none have come off the pipe well I find one that is pointing slightly off alignment and Mr.obsessive compulsive decides to straighten it out. It's a little cold and I'm in shorts and a tee shirt. I go to adjust the sprinkler head and it comes off and a geyser like old faithful with dirt goes right into my face. Now I'm looking around hoping no neighbors saw this cause I'd never live it down...:lol:

That water from the lake is Fu@king cold...:D:D

Right now the sprinklers are on the front lawn, time to switch over to the back yard.....my HVAC uses a well pump/water for the heat sink instead of an outside fan....so I water the lawn....when we get the rainy season, I let it run down the gutter.....

And I had to fix the front lawn sprayer, grew a bunch of green stringy slime in the bottom of the input filter....yeachch....

I got tired of paying one guy to make the grass grow. And another guy to cut it.

So I have pine straw. Well, I HAD pine straw. The puppy has turned most of the little 1/2 acre into a sand pile. :Jeff '79:

It was a balmy 26 degrees this morning. The bird bath froze and the outside buckets for the dogs had ice on them.
Not much left in the way of leaves on the trees now.
