If it ever warms up above freezing, I have a long day of paint work ahead. Wash, claybar, de-swirl (that the dealer did), seal and wax. Then I need to install the mudguards.

I wonder if I'll ever make it off the couch

Ive got another 3hrs of prep and painting to get done...and its 42*....pisses me off.

For me, winterizing the truck means throwing a jacket in my duffel bag. Just incase. :D

The only thing I do is take my C5 to a building where I store it during the winter months so my wife can park in the garage. :leaving:

The GTI is my all year car. I wouldn't have bought a GTI as a weekend/summer toy. The fancy WeatherTech floormats are already installed. Winters are terrible here with chemicals/sand/salt on the roads and I'd like to keep the paint/body in reasonably non-rusty shape. I still need to buy snow tires.

At least this car fits in the garage now.
