did some painting on my truck.

Did the rear drivers side fender, tailgate, put on the new emblems and decals on...then did the pass side back door. Turned out okay i think...1 door left, then some spot details...and put on the stainless steel panels below the body line...cover up that dent.

The painting went okay, I did the appropriate sanding, primed, wet sanded the primer, 3 coats of base, 3 coats of clear. You can see, if you get right up on it, where its not perfect where I sanded it bare due to the peeling, and feathered it in with the sander and primer. From 3 feet away it looks great though.

Got to do the drivers door, the whole A piller of the door, and B pillar, and top, all have to go to bare metal...the paint is just falling off it in those areas.

Im thinking of removing the running boards though, Ive used them a few times, they make it easier to get in and out..but they are just so low, and so huge, it makes the truck seem bulky...a nice simple step is all thats really needed, or ideally..a nerf bar for front and back access.

On stepsides and dually trucks, the decals go on the fender itself. On fleetsides though, it goes on the back of the bed.
