While I like it on the right period of cars & trucks when done artfully, I hate it when it is obvious they just junked up a perfectly good car. :(

When is this fad going to die?

Not soon enough

But probably until all of these POSs are crushed

Why decrease the resale by 80% on a brand new car? :confused5:

It takes me years of neglect to get a car to look that way, and by then it runs as good as it looks :funny:

Back in my high school days I drove the real ones..

$50..$75 and $100 cars.

Some were not even close to safe, I had a few with no brakes, so just used the parking brake to get to where I needed to be.

Always had a tow chain in the trunk so I didn't get stranded, or to help out buddies.

One car where the steering box bolts too the frame had rusted out, so it took a full turn of the wheel to go left or right.. hit a bump and no telling where it would go so you always had to keep your foot covering the brake just in case.

My 68 Beetle was free, you can imagine it's condition. And my 71 Super Beetle was rusted where the struts attached. I waited to see them pop through the hood but it never happened. The hood did have what looked like a bullet hole in it. :D
