Crystal Head Vodka, comes in a bottle shaped like a skull, is triple filtered through Herkimer diamonds (huh?) and I have no idea where to buy it.

Costco sells it.
They had a tasting one day.
I'm not a huge drinker, but that stuff was horrid. Much prefer any of the "wal-mart" vodkas.

Herkimer diamonds are not really diamonds but double terminated quartz crystals ie, they have 2 naturally faceted ends. Carbon filtration is pretty good but substituting it for crystals I suppose implies the crystal clear aspect. According the makers, test tasters prefer the crystal -filtered version.

Serious. I just keep refilling it with cheaper stuff. Even supposed Vodka snobs can't tell the difference between cheap and expensive Vodka, especially when it's mixed, which is what I use Vodka for anyway.

As a mixer I'm sure it will suffice, in a martini or the like there are better choices
