Gene (mrvette) asked about more shots of our kitchen. we completed this last year, fully gutted down to studs and drywall. everything is new, cabinets i designed and built and installed, new granite counters, new island, new appliances, new backsplash, new flooring. took over a year.

there are 43 drawers, 13 lazy susans, 74 square feet of countertop space, the island is 30" deep, and the entire kitchen occupies a space 16'x11'. cabinet frames are of pre-finished maple plywood, doors and drawer fronts are Ambrosia Maple (wormy maple).

enjoy:

Looks great, nice job! Lots of work in there. Interesting wood, I've never heard of it.

:seasix: Nice work! That is certainly unique. I like those wood beams, too.

I think we have the same cabinet hardware...this is the only (crummy) pic I can find...

Wow, it's beautiful!

YES IT CERTAINLY IS!!!!! Got more character than a Shakespeare play......

Wish I had known to spec that wood for our doors, which I ordered over the net, funny thing is, as noted with another fellow on the net that plain maple photographs much more grainy/odd looking than in person....

but yours looks GREAT DAB......photos or not.....
