My dad had 2 grapevines in his back yard. I haven't been able to stand store bought ones ever since.

Truly fresh grapes from the vineyard are unbeatable in taste...just like most any fruit or vegetable that is freshly picked.

I had an Epiphany last night...but that might have been her stripper name.

When I was a teen there was a guy already in his 90s that had wild grapes growing on his back patio. Just unruly and crazy vines everywhere. We would sneak in his yard at night and make a basket out of the front of our T-shirts and make ourselves sick eating pound after pound of incredible grapes.

My mom could never get the stains out of the fronts of those T-shirts and they would be used for lawn cutting days.


When I was about 5 I had a babysitter whose house neighbored a Welch's orchard. I got to eat those too. ( May have been Smucker's now that I think about it)
