Didn't you get the memo? Working at a fast food franchise is now a professional career and should come with an adequate salary and benefits. I'm sure that someone within the University of California education system is busily working on developing this career track. . . after all, they have Janet Napolitano as the University Sytem's President.

However, back in the olden days, working at a "burger bar" was a temporary position so that you could earn money for gas and dates and was not considered to be a life-long interest. Where and when we changed I'm too old to remember. :confused5:
