Getting your car keyed is bad enough, but according to Zero2Turbo.com vandals in Hoover, Ala. took things to the next level when they allegedly used paint stripper on a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The resulting damage effectively destroyed the fiberglass sports car’s black paint.

While we hate to see damage like this to any car, we can’t help but wonder what this Corvette’s owner did to warrant such a retaliation from another individual: was it the result of road rage, payback for a botched business deal, a scorned ex, or simply a random attack on an unsuspecting victim?

We may never know why this Corvette was so viciously attacked, but we hope the perp(s) is/are caught and that the owner of this Corvette is able to bring his or her 460-horsepower Stingray back to its original condition.

were i park in Queens houses go for 750k and above but if ypu have a nice vehicle beware, because most of them are keyed, robbed, or destroyed, their are some nasty spiteful peope in this world

Even still...there's a court of law and legal recourse if they "deserved it" There's no excuse EVER to damage somebody's property.

Yup, obviously his fault...

Of course it's his fault. Car probably owned by a non-democrat... who lives a fairly responsible lifestyle and pulls a weekly paycheck.

There was a thread on CF right after it happened. Was about a month ago. Car was fixed with most body panels replaced. There was a pic of the owner. I'll not comment on that.:D

It's getting to be that you need a go-pro inside your car looking for assholes that do stuff like that. Stripper can damage the body panels if left on too long and it will never be right after that. Bubbled paint for years. :(

BTW....spurned lovers come in both sexes. :yesnod:
