That could be a molded resin door made to look like real wood. They have them, along with all fancy moldings for "antique" interiours. :yesnod:

I've also seen mantle surrounds hand carved in the Philippians that were that fancy, all by hand with archaic hand tools. A guy in Memphis used to import them. Very cool and quite amazing. They made their chisel tools from car springs, and wood mallets.

Amazing work if hand carved. Makes me remember that tv show with the woodworker who used no power tools, just old school manual tools.
