Never was a Yankee fan but have always liked Jeter. He is truly a class act. :cert::seasix:

Great post. The look on those kids faces was priceless, especially since they are probably die hard baseball fans. Only a few times in our lives do you have that kind that kind of talent with any humility left. Props to Jeter.:seasix:

I'm a life long Yankees fan. My parents moved here from Jamaica in 69 back when the Mets were the new team. As a result my dad became a Mets fan. And just like many of us do, if my dad says to go left, i went right. Hence i became a Yankees fan. And then i married a girl from Queens to top it all off...

Derek was my guy after Mattingly (my daughters namesake) .. Soriano was too until he went to Texas for the ARod deal. I was always a fan of Andy too. He had the best pick off move i have ever saw (check youtube). Sucks because all the guys i knew from when i REALLY started paying attention to the game have all retired. I guess i'm getting old.

I was fortunate enough though to schedule one of my last biz trips to FL around a NY Tampa series so i was able to see Jeter play one last time.
