When I am done with the G8 in a couple years I will look at newer 5.0 vert or Shelby vert if I don't get a V wagon.

I almost had a 69 Mach 1. a freind had it from his dad, and he went off and joined the Army after high school. His dad owned an engine shop and planned on his son working there with him, was pissed at him for enlisting, so he offered to sell me the car for $2800. It had a built 351C. ran the 1/4 in 12.8 @ 114.
He changed his mind when I showed up with the cash.

The '73 is a good year IMO...
many don't like the fact that the front bumper is plastic and the rear has the bumperettes.
I think it's a good look. and, it's the perfect candidate for side pipes because the rear valance is void of the exhaust cut outs.

I don't have pics here but had a 66... 3 spd six banger a long time ago and had a 92 5.0 LX that I had done a few mods to...added nitrous...loved playing with that  but was on the dyno once and let off of the gas BEFORE taking my thumb off of the nitrous button and BOOM...car still ran but there was a small crack in the top of the block. :willy:
I called Summit Racing and ordered a new block for $200...that's right...and all new pistons...cam...blah blah blah...added a Vortec S-Trim and ended up with a hot running little Stang. :hurray:
I actually enjoyed that car quite a bit.
Not my Stang(s) but this is my Z06 and some friends vehicles from a couple of years ago. That's an 87 GT under the car cover that's pristine.
