I could install one myself and do the same thing. The car is also capable of breaking every road law known to man. There is nothing for GM to worry about here

Yeah and, um...let's not check the laws before putting this stuff out there. We all know illegal recording is only for .gov (That I love and respect http://www.smiley-faces.org/smiley-faces/smiley-face-whistle-2.gif )

Does not apply in Texas. This is a single party state with regard to recording.

It would be illegal in Pa since it's a two party state. GM needs to offer it with two options
1) For the one party states, a verbal acknowledgement the driver is turning it on.
2) For the two party states, The driver turns on the system and the valet has to accept / acknowledge the system or the car doesn't start.

They could get it whether OnStar knew it or not.:leaving:
