I had to go downtown (Atlanta) this afternoon to pick up my passport. Dragon Con is happening right there where I had to be.

It was odd.

I should have taken some pics, but I was kind of focused on getting in and out of there quickly. If I were a cop I'd be nervous; there's a lot of "Viking" looking folks with rather real looking spears and battle-axes.

Lots of very white skin, very black hair and very pierced...everything. I've got to say, not the best of "scenery".

Picture 3000 twenty to forty year-olds dressed up as fictional Goth, comic book and video game characters. This is the weekend every year when their moms clean out their "kids'" basement bedrooms.

I have a friend that goes every year. I enjoy seeing her pics. Some real costumed hotties, but I wouldn't fight that traffic and crowd for it.
