53 years of that BS, 4' in my driveway last winter I seen, that was Jan/Feb '97, not seen a live snowflake since, gave up over 35 grand in house equity just to GTFO.....house would not sell because of the 3 car garage 2-3 years on the market, arthritis forced me out.....

I hope I don't have to drive on ice again. Once in a lifetime was enough.

Yep! I have driven on ice one time and it was last winter. Not all it's cracked up to be. Another winter like last year and I'm moving south.

I really do love the challenge of driving in the snow.:drivingskid:
My 525i and 4 snows get me where I want to go faster than anyone...
Except for in this vid that I took in January...:D

Ya, it does suck but it's all in your mindset.
Once you resign yourself to the fact that winter has arrived, you might as well have fun. Drive fast & take chances is my mantra...:D
I've kissed guard rails and spun numerous times in winter cars, on my way up to being really good at driving in it. Now it's a challenge to see how fast I can go on the snow w/o losing it.

My wife hates driving with me in the winter.

Then why have insurance?

-mortgage requires it
-be a fool not to even w/o a mortgage
-wind coverage is only a part of the HO ins.
-I also have flood because it's required and wise

And, I noted not having to replace "everything I own". I did replace a boat courtesy of a girl named Opal in '95. But that was a boat policy. Glad I had it too. Boat was paid for. A total loss.

Yes. Hurricanes and Trop storms suck. But they are not that often. And I refuse to wear a parka, shovel snow, and live with freezing temps. We all make choices. And live with them.
